What are Composable applications?
This flexible technology can be thought of as the use of existing digital building blocks, to create new applications. In some cases far more effective and efficient overall solutions can be obtained in this way.
These new applications can be easily integrated with existing architecture and therefore more easily adopted. The use of Low Code technology further facilitates this process.
The tech company Gartner, has studied this technology and further expanded it as follows:
- Composable thinking:
Prioritize modularity, autonomy, orchestration and discovery when determining what to build or create
- Composable business architecture:
Build an organization that is flexible and resilient
- Composable technologies:
Use the design goals of speed, through discovery and greater agility through modularity to build new technologies
