About Mixed Reality - Overview
What is Mixed Reality?
This is a term that refers to the use of a recognised Digital reality field or field(s) in conjunction with the interaction of a human being.
An example in the Beauty industry would be a virtual face makeover using Augmented Reality AR. The real human beings face can be seen during the various degrees of the changes, using the virtual makeup. This enables the potential client to fully evaluate the effect, function, colour etc of the real cosmetic products on their face, before making the final purchase.
As a comparison, just using Virtual Reality technology, puts you in a totally virtual environment, with no real world interaction being possible.
